I just love everything about weddings and now I have set the date for mine I am so excited. I am really lucky to be able to afford quite an expensive wedding and so we have a lovely castle venue planned, with not too many guests as I want it to be quite intimate. However, we will be having lots of nice things to eat and drink and the best thing is that I get to choose from a range of designer wedding dresses. I feel so spoilt as I know that my parents would not have been able to afford this sort of thing for me, but my husband and his family are well off and have offered to pay for everything. My parents wanted to contribute and so I have asked them if they can pay for the flowers, including the wedding bouquet and I will go with my mother to choose them so she can see exactly what she is paying for. I hope that it will help them to feel part of the proceedings and enjoy the whole occasion more. I will also have my Mum with me when choosing the dress as well as my sister as I think that it will be a lovely girly thing to do together.
